Nestled in Douglas County, Parker sits about 23 miles southeast of downtown Denver, offering small-town charm with big-city convenience. When we arrived, Parker was a quiet, close-knit community with just a few hundred residents. Today, it has grown to over 52,000 while still maintaining its welcoming atmosphere.
One of Parker’s greatest assets is its breathtaking scenery. Sitting at an elevation of 5,869 feet—higher than Denver—many areas offer stunning views of the city skyline, Foothills, and even the Continental Divide. Few places in Colorado rival Parker’s panoramic beauty.
Outdoor enthusiasts will love Parker’s vast park system, featuring over 250 acres of developed parks and 950 acres of open space. Favorites include Auburn Hills Community Park, Discovery Park, and the upcoming Rueter-Hess Reservoir, which will add even more recreational opportunities.
Despite its small-town feel, Parker offers excellent cultural and entertainment options. The PACE Center hosts concerts, theater productions, and art shows, while the Vehicle Vault and Colorado Horse Park provide unique attractions. Fantastic restaurants, great shopping, and exciting events year-round make Parker a wonderful place to call home.
From festivals to top-tier medical facilities, Parker truly has it all. We’re proud to call it home and hope you will love it too!
